Branding, Photo-manipulation, Cross-Platform, and Production

KickAss Brews is a coffeehouse branded for the metalhead and alternative communities. Niche coffeehouses or cafes are slowly disappearing due to the growth of social media which leads to companies branding their shops to drawn in more tourist. I wanted to pull away from “following trends” as well as pull from what the punk subculture upheld. This direction consists of using textures, neon accents, photo-manipulation to create photo collages, and designing something hard!

I am a metalhead and apart of the alternative community, which is where a large portion of inspiration came from. A majority of the design process for most projects, I start with connecting with the design to see what elements are similar and what can be used to further any development.
